At the bel-etage of the Bourla Schouwburg

The first time when I came to Belgium, Milan told me that he must show me one beautiful place. As I believed in his good taste I knew that place must be special. It was love at first sight. Every walk in Antwerp finished with drinks here.

The Bourla Schouwburg (or theater) is a famous place in Antwerp. This monument was designed by Pierre Bourla in 1827. The half round entrance became the signature of the architecture. The Bourla Schouwburg offers contemporary theater plays in an historic setting. The Bourla also has an elegant coffee or high tea foyer on the bel-etage. It was in this setting that we took these photos.

When we got opportunity to take photos here I was over the moon. Thank you Bourla Schouwburg for having us.
