Sunflowers in Kayumanis Private Villa Sanur

Hi,

Autumn has already arrived here in Europe and here I m with super summery photos! In Belgium we even didn't have a proper summer so I needed to go faraway to feel some sun rays on my skin.

If you follow me on Instagram then you already know that we were on Bali, yesterday we came back home and I couldn't wait to show you some new photos.

The first place we visited in Bali was Sanur and we stayed in Kayumanis Private Villa. This place , without exaggerating, is a real heaven on Earth.
Kayumanis Private Villa & Spa Sanur is just one of four locations. Kayumanis Villas you can also find in Ubud, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua.

What can you expect there:

  • á la carte breakfast in your outside living room, by the way did I mension that breakfast time is unlimited?
  • you have 24h buttler service at your disposal
  • 30min welcome massage
  • a driver who will take you wherever you want to go in Sanur
  • complementary afternoon high tea
  • free bike rental

The villas are just so amazing, the people of Kayumanis think about every little detail and I loved that traditional Balinese touch. Outside you have an open kitchen and living room where we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. This was my favourite part of the day. The villa is surrounded with a beautiful garden with tropical trees and flowers with your very own swimming pool. Oh do I wish to go back there. Wanted or not you will become easily spoiled.
If luxury and privacy are your things then this is the place for you.

Since our villa was so amazing we needed to use the opportunity to take some photos here. I also have to make up for my long absence so this is just the first post from this amazing place.

The dress I m wearing from Hearts and Found suits perfectly to this tropical vibe! The funny fact is that I never owned any yellow or orange toned dress and I fell in love with this one. How can you not love this sunflower print!

Purple dream

Hello,

This is one of those post where I don't want to bother you with too much text, I think these photos tell the story better than I do.
I must say that we discovered this wonderful place thanks to our clients and once I saw it I couldn't wait to do photos here.

Pity we are not in Provence but we found something similar close to our home.

Paris city guide

Paris travel guide

Hello,

On my blog you can find a few travel posts but I never wrote a city guide. Why, you would ask me? Well since I never found so much inspiration or time to do it. Why should I write it about Paris, which  is already completely discovered and so touristical? Well we had the occasion to meet some locals who showed us some nice places. Lets discover Paris together! Vive La France...

WINING & DINING

This is one amazing place where we had even more amazing lunch. This restaurant has a great location, it is close to the Champs Elysées and just few steps from Le Pont Alexandre III. Le Mini Palais is perfect spot to to rest from long walk and to enjoy in marvelous food.
That day was around 32C but in the beautiful balcony of this place we felt faraway from the Parisian hustle and bustle and the heat.

This restaurant is also close to the Champs Elysées and it is easy to find it. Hmm where to start! This restaurant is operating since 1900. It is in amazing art-deco style. Food it typical french which means: get ready for gourmand dishes with lots of creme and butter!

                                                                       LA FERMETTE MARBEUF Paris

CAFÉ DES 2 MOULINS

This safe is located in Rue Lepic 15 on Montmartre. It got it's name from the two nearby windmills, the Moulin Rouge and the Moulin de la Galette. More photos from this amazing place you could find in my previous post. This cafe became famous after the romantic movie Amélie by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Although this place is quite touristic we had two amazing and pretty calm evenings there. The staff is really friendly and nice.
I recommend this place for quick lunch or a snack, but also I can say the creme brulée was so yummy.

STREETS

RUE CRÉMIEUX

When it comes to beautiful streets I really loved Rue de Crémieux. It's the most colorful street in Paris, it is a pedestrian zone with a private houses. When you come here you feel that you left Paris for a short time.  The Architectural style and all is so different and quiet. We went there on Sunday morning so we didn't have a lot of other people around us, except for a few cute cats which were sleeping on the windows. If you want to do some nice photos, this is the place for it.

THE VIEW

How to come to Paris and not to enjoy rooftops and beautiful view. Our hotel had great rooftop and we enjoyed this amazing view on Sacre Coeur and Eiffel tower almost every evening.

I also can recommend Le Perchoir cafe from where you have great view on Sacre Coeur.

GARDENS

JARDIN DU LUXEMBOURG

Even Paris is an metropolitan town it has a lot of gardens. I must admit that we didn't visit a lot of them, but we left that to other visit.
After long walk and crazy heat I was so happy when we came to Jardin du Luxembourg where we could have some good rest on the well known green chairs :). I really enjoyed this place.

And of course:
EIFFEL TOWER

We can say oh this is so cliché but how can you come to Paris and not to see the Eiffel tower. Yes that is just imposibble. Just wonder around and find a nice place for the photos.

Le Fabuleux destin de Ma Chérie D

Stop Staring Aspen dress review

Hello,

One thing that you didn't know about me is that I m big movie lover. I see at least two movies per week but I easily forget the fabula of movie or the name. I have no idea why this happens. There is one exception, there is one movie I know everything about. I still can remember every scene, every dialog and even the soundtrack.

That movie is "Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain". The movie is a real romantic masterpiece. It is even difficult to put into words how much I love "Amélie". All about this movie is perfect from the innocent love story, Amelie's character to the soundtrack.

Since our hotel was on Montmartre, the same neighbourhood where Amélie was filmed, I felt like I came into her world.

Every day we would go to visit some known and wonderful places in Paris but every evening we would come back to "our neighbourhood" and we would spend hours wondering around small streets of Montmartre.

When we came in front of her building and grocery shop I was just expecting when Collignon will appear to give some speach to poor Lucien. For me all was so realistic. I m just so in love with this movie.

We spent two wonderful evenings in Café des 2 Moulin, where Amélie works as a bar tender in the movie. You will read all about that in another blog post.

For this wondering in the streets of Montmartre I choose the Aspen dress by Stop Staring!. Since it was so hot that day I needed a light and open dress. Did you see the back of this dress? Oh that is my favourite part of it! I know it is maybe not the most beautiful combination but I wore it with my old comfy sandals because we walked all day.

This dress is a little bit to large for me but I didn't have time to bring it to atailor, but I must do it, so it will fit perfectly.

Could it be coincidence that a few 100 meters away from the Amélie superetta you can find a photomatic? Wonderful!
